If Sonic X adapted this scenario from the Shadow game:
Sonic and Chris just happened to accidentally be transported to the ARK 50 years ago with Shadow thanks to Black Doom “manipulating” his mind back to that tragic day. Just before the G.U.N. raid Gerald and Black Doom are seen talking about their deal for Shadow to deliver the Chaos Emeralds to the Black Arms. Our heroes come across Maria, who finds Gerald and Black Doom talking, and eavesdrop on what’s possibly going on.
Geez, I really wish the game adaptations in Sonic X didn’t stop at Sonic Adventure 2, it’d be extremely interesting to see how the Shadow the Hedgehog game could’ve been adapted, even with Chris Thorndyke quote-unquote “poisoning” it.
And sorry not sorry; I’m one of the .5% who actually likes Chris.
